    UA Online Military Grant Application

    Application Instructions

    The University of Alabama Online Military Tuition Grant covers tuition costs not paid by military tuition assistance, up to the maximum amount allowed per service branch. This grant can cover up to 6 credit hours each term (fall, spring, and summer) and up to 18 credit hours per academic year, minimizing the out-of-pocket expenses incurred by service members.

    To apply, eligible students must complete the Military Grant application below and upload verification documents all at one time.

    Students must upload the following documents to complete the grant application:

    I understand that I must be enrolled as a UA Online undergraduate student and if my campus status changes, I will no longer be eligible for this grant. I am also aware that this application is for one academic year, and a new application and submission of orders verifying my military status and branch of service must be completed and submitted each year for consideration. I understand that this grant will cover the cost of tuition not paid by my military tuition assistance for up to six credit hours each term (fall, spring, and summer) for a total of up to 18 credit hours per academic year. This grant will not cover the cost of any additional course fees, including textbooks or proctored testing.
    I understand that I must be enrolled as a UA Online undergraduate student and if my campus status changes, I will no longer be eligible for this grant.
